Leela offers improvised-dance classes for adults of all ages and children where specified. Classes run on a drop-in basis unless otherwise stated and are open to all levels of experience.  

She is grateful to lead groups on behalf of community groups, Movement for Life, Totnes Dance Collective, Barefoot Dance Exeter, and also her private practice.

The peer group, Barefoot Dancers, invites Leela to lead sessions.

Totnes Dance Collective

Leela is one of the leaders within Totnes Dance Collective, a Monday night improvised dance space at the Civic Hall with decades of history.
The Collective runs weekly, you can just pay on the door. £12.

Family Dance

An open space to communicate in movement and enjoy our physicality as children so easily do. All ages welcome. We begin with structured movement play and then dance freeform to music.

Our in-person movement sessions for mothers & female carers are back.
This time we’re offering a FREE TASTER session for newcomers on Tuesday Sept 28th, 10-11.45am.
The full series is fortnightly from Tuesday September 28th – December 7th through which we build connection in community of women.

Movement for Wellbeing – for Women Online

A supportive group to connect with women & be guided in body awareness & freeform playful movement to music.
This is going to be especially good for those of you who suspect a movement practice might be a way to get out of your head and nourish your soul but haven’t made the leap. Women anywhere can now join our south-west based online group. Part-funded by the National Lottery.
