Leela and Adam offer Soul Motion conscious dance classes for adults of all ages and children where specified. Classes run on a drop-in basis unless otherwise stated. No dance experience is required, curiosity and a wish to relax is a great place to begin.

Friday Soul Motion – Totnes, Devon, UK

The classes are lightly led with somatic invitations and nurture an improvised conscious dance practice, emphasising somatic movement and creative dialogue. Solo intimate dance is our guiding homebase, and the group field our collective potential.

Adam leads Soul Motion each 1st & 3rd Friday of the month, Leela leads Soul Motion occasionally (around mothering) and otherwise, our colleagues Jo Hardy and Christian De Sousa lead Deep Rhythm sessions. 7.30-9.30pm
Location:The old School Hall, Upstairs opposite the Totnes Library. Part of The Mansion, Fore St. Totnes. TQ9 5RP.
Directions: Take the side alley next to The Mansion into a square & go to the double doors at the back of the square, then up the stairs.

Soul Motion visits Barefoot Exeter

The peer group, Barefoot Dancers, invites Leela to lead sessions. Next Soul Motion date with Adam – Feb 6th, with Leela May 15th. You can find the group every Wednesday. 7.45-10.15pm. St Matthew’s Church Hall, Clifton Road, Newtown, Exeter EX1 2BS, £6-10 All welcome to this warm open group.

Totnes Dance Collective

Leela is one of the leaders within Totnes Dance Collective, a Monday night space at the Civic Hall. The collective has formed in the wake of Jo Hardy’s 10 year sole leadership, which is evolving into a diverse range of practices. Leela leads every couple of months.
