Very supportive and skilfully held, so I felt I could relax emotionally and physically. I realised how much I need the experience of being held, and then my body remembers about movement with music which feels healing. So great to be in a space that is not about competition, making self or others wrong, about ego and better than – all of which are woven into mainstream culture which is harder to avoid during lockdown and living alone.  Participant from Movement for Wellbeing

I’ve been disconnected from dance and movement with other women for years and I have missed it so much.  This has been a great opportunity to reconnect and be reminded of how valuable it is to me. Participant from Movement for Wellbeing

I definitely would recommend this to friends/others and I’d love to return. This is my 3rd season of these sessions already! I like the sessions just the way they are, nothing more, nothing less. perfect! Participant from Movement for Mothers & Female Carers  & Movement for Wellbeing

Incredibly meaningful to connect with other women and be heard and seen. I’ve felt so, so supported with these sessions. I would have struggled much more without them.

David Whyte speaks of “the place you cannot breathe”. Soul Motion with Leela connects me with that breathless place inside again and again. Every class it opens for a time and begins to shudder and shake and pulse and breathe again – loudly, softly, tenderly, powerfully. And so i come back for more … I am finding my raw Soul Breath and loving it!’  Jan Felmingham

I feel Leela’s work is sacred, profound, soft and gentle: spiritual. She herself, so full of light exuberant innocence; straight away I felt she knew me with deep allowing and listening.  Helena Matthews
